Sandum AS was one of very few companies from the Scandinavian countries. Nevertheless, the participation where a success and Sandum had a number of visitors from all over the world that gave attention and took part in no dig discussions. 

Located close to our German equipment supplier Tracto-Technik GmbH & Co, we had an excellent location as a supplement to their range of products. A lot of visitors gave especially attention to the rollerblade inside a cracked steel pipe, diameter 800 mm, which is an option for the Grundoburst 2500G. This was something different at the fair. We trust we will be able to establish some good relations to possible contractors and other new contacts. With our experience and high skilled people in all positions, we are able to assist to do pipe bursting with huge diameters on projects world wide. We have earlier successfully worked abroad in both Europe and in the Middle East. 

Our main topic in Berlin was our Grundoburst 2500 G (pull power 250 tons) that is one of few available in Europe. This machine allows pipe bursting up to 1.000 mm in diameter, thus the capacity is too large for the limited Scandinavian market.  Nevertheless, we have got two new jobs for this machine to be carried out during early summer with pipe diameters on 710 mm respectively 1000 mm. We can now see a growing market for this application, in Scandinavia, but also in the rest of the world.
